Web Page Design Module 3: Basic Design Principles
As proposed by Robin Williams in The Non-Designer's Web Book

Contrast pulls you into the page. It helps to guide your eyes around the page, create a hierarchy of information, and skim pages more easily. Contrast can be created in numerous ways. Font type can be made bolder, bigger, in a very different style, or in a different color. To be effective, contrast must be strong. If two elements are not the same, make them very different. If you don't want contrast on a page, such as when you want to present continuous text, don't throw it in.

Every web page must have a focal point or dominating force. Other elements on the page follow a hierarchy from that point down. This focus is created through contrast. Locate this assignment in your Google Classroom. Open the Google doc and identify the focal point of this page.
